Irish comedian and actor Paddy Lennox first burst on to stage as a Stand-Up in 2001 and from then on it was clear that comedy was his passion. An engaging and instantly likeable character, Paddy combines topical material with observational routines.
Paddy has been tour support for Rhod Gilbert, Lucy Porter and Micky Flanagan.
He started Stand-Up in December 2001 only to be interrupted with a couple of comedies at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and a couple of surreal commercials in far off lands, before returning to his new found passion.
A naturally funny, warm comic who plays all the big (and small) clubs in the UK. He has also gigged in South Africa, Germany, Ireland, Croatia, Estonia, Malta, and lil' ol' Slovenia.
'... simply a scream' (The Daily Telegraph)
'... comedy the way it should be: a laugh-a-minute which leaves the audience wishing the show was just a little bit longer... gentle Irish lilt belies a mischievous sense of humour' (Fest).
'Excellent stand-up, Paddy Lennox, is laid-back and charismatic. Vastly entertaining. This show proves that the AAA stand-up comedians have great things ahead of them' (Three Weeks).
As seen on Comedy Central’s “The Alternative Comedy Experience” and heard on BBC Radio Four’s “Andrew O’Neil: Pharmacist Baffler”, Stephen Carlin has gained critical acclaim and a growing fan base with his original, insightful material and his accomplished delivery.
Chosen as one of Stewart Lee’s “Ten Best Stand Up Comedians Ever” Stewart Lee, Stephen Merchant, Tom Stade & Felix Dexter on their national tours.
He is a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival most recently in 2017 with his solo show “The Rise of the Autistic"
His writing credits include the Now Show and the Newsquiz and he is the author of a Comedy Blog, which hilariously exposes the many facets of a life lived in comedy.
