Cirencester comedy, cotswold comedy, comedy club

Thursday 25th October 2018

Looking for giggle and a night of razor-sharp wit. Treat yourself to a hilarious evening of top comedy and join us for a night of Live Stand Up Comedy in conjunction with Funhouse Comedy.

Line up for October's Comedy Club:

Sean Heydon

Arguably the most televised illusionist in the UK, Sean Heydon is fast becoming one of the world’s most exciting and cutting edge performers to watch.

With experience spanning over two decades and already a multi-award winning entertainer, Heydon is widely recognised as ‘The Alternative Magician’. His unique creative take on traditional magic coupled with a natural ability to perform comedy is what sets him aside from his peers. Entertaining through comedy dusted with a little magic is Heydon’s forte.

Anthony King

Anthony has been a fixture on the U.K. comedy scene for nearly 30 years playing top U.K. Clubs, Theatres, Arts Centres and at Festivals. His unique dead-pan style was honed in the late 80's/early 90's in London before the circuit expanded to what it is today. At home with a quiet listening audience and the bustle of a rowdy club, with a set full of punchlines.

"It’s the one-liners that set him apart. Sparse, efficient, unexpected – and often with a delicious twinge of underlying nastiness – each one is an elegant example of perfect joke construction….” - chortle.co.uk

Lindsey Santoro

Lindsey Santoro hails from Birmingham (but don’t hold that against her). She recounts tales of her misadventures in life, all in her trademark down to earth, side-splitting style.

Lindsey has been active on the Midlands comedy circuit since 2014 and she made the semi-finals of the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2016.

She describes her style as a mix of the down-to-earth and the madcap.

"One of the most naturally hysterical and gifted comedians in recent memory."
Joe Lycett

NEW COMPERE - Ignacio Lopez

Ignacio Lopez has been wowing audiences internationally with his individual style and high gag-rate since 2010. A frequent headliner and MC in top comedy clubs all over the UK, Ignacio also performs regularly at corporate functions, private shows, military gigs, sports dinners, art centres and festivals.

In 2015 Ignacio sold out solo festival performances in Edinburgh, Brighton, Reading, Cardiff and Neath.

In 2016 Ignacio produced and hosted a comedy series for Made Television called ‘Comedy Sheep Stand-Up’, which was the first show to be broadcast across the UK network in a primetime weekend slot.
