Line up for December's Comedy Club

Brian Damage & Krysstal

Since meeting at The Edinburgh Festival in 2000 Brian & Krysstal have entertained and delighted all kinds of audiences at comedy clubs, cabaret nights, festivals, corporate and private functions in locations far and wide. Regular fixtures at The Edinburgh Festival for eight years, the duo have worked all over the UK as well as Germany, South Africa, Gozo, Spain, Denmark, Ireland, Australia and of course… Peckham.

Brian is infamously grumpy and deadpan, while his assistant Krysstal is glamorous but ditzy. The combination is unique and very funny. Their timing is exquisite, their humour dry and sometimes bawdy.

David Tsonos

If you want serious comedy David Tsonos is not your man. His comedy stems from being the youngest of five boys, babysitting ...his nephews and his cat. Whether it’s a Bar gig, a Comedy Club or a Corporate function David makes them laugh until they can laugh no more. (Well maybe a little more.)  Starting off in Canada in 1999 and now making London UK his home he has performed in over 15 countries. He has appeared at numerous fringe festivals in the UK including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bath and Hastings. He will continue to make people laugh until Aliens with no sense of humour take over Earth.

“Very confident, knows his material totally and had the crowd roaring. Good face and voice for comedy, great timing”. The Stand Comedy Club

Alex Farrow

“Alex Farrow: Philosophy A-Level” is is a stand-up comedy show about history, religion and modern Britain told through the stories of teaching Philosophy to teenagers. “Honest and interesting and really, very, very funny indeed” –★★★★★ Bunbury Magazine, “Jaw Achingly funny”- Oxford Times ★★★★★ “An engaging and entertaining pairing of learning and good humour!” – ★★★★ The Latest, Brighton

Tasked by Ofsted with “promoting British values” to teens in an East-London school in special measures for Islamic extremism, join Alex as he explores what it’s like to teach students critical thinking, in a school that is critical of what it’s students might be thinking. From Socrates to Stormzy, via the Bible, the Quran, paganism, the pub and a trip to the headmaster gone wrong: there’s a lot to disagree about, how best do we do it? And what the hell has Alfie drawn on his textbook?

Alex is the the host at Union Jack FM’s “One Night Stand” live from the Jericho Comedy club broadcast on Thursdays. He is resident MC at Jericho Comedy. Jericho Comedy was voted best comedy night in the Midlands in the Chortle 2019 awards and also recommended in the Sunday Times
