Ben Holder’s high-octane performances are becoming the stuff of legend - this is a musician with a unique take on jazz and entertainment. You might imagine this is how Paganini may have played jazz with a ‘combustion’ of notes covering the fingerboard in a blaze of melody, all frenetic energy and virtuosity. This violin toting jazz lover also sings remarkably well and has been known to tell a humorous story or two. But what shines through every performance of Ben’s, is his sheer love of performing and at this show he will return to his original style of Gypsy Swing accompanied by two great acoustic jazz guitarists and double bass. So if you like your jazz ‘up’ and foot-tapping this is the concert for you. Ben (violin/vocals), Jez Cook (guitar), Caley Groves (guitar) & Paul Jefferies (bass).
