Saxophonist Martin Kern grew up in Bülach near Zürich in Switzerland, he studied in Paris at the Cèntre d ́Information Musicale and at the Swiss Jazz School in Bern before spending some time in New York. He then moved to Berlin where he became a part of the vibrant jazz scene. It was there that he recorded his first albums as a bandleader, "Visions" and "Now Is The Music“. He then recorded a live radio concert in Vienna at the Austrian broadcasting corporation, “Live At The ORF RadioCafe“.

Since 2018 Martin has lived in Bristol UK where he has performed with many great musicians from the UK jazz scene. Martin ́s music is a striking blend of bebop, hard bop and contemporary jazz, his sound reflecting those of legendary saxophonists Sonny Rollins, Dexter Gordon and others.

Bassist Al Swinger has performed, recorded and taught all over the country and internationally for more than 25 years including in venues like Ronnie Scotts and the Royal Festival Hall. He also performed at national and international jazz festivals including Love Supreme, the London Jazz Festival and Krakow Jazz Festival. Al has been awarded fifth place in the British Jazz Awards three times and performed with a who's who of jazz nobility during his career.

Mattia Collu is a Jazz drummer from Sardegna based in Bristol. He had the opportunity to study with world-famous drummers like Ari Hoenig, Jonatan Barber and Jeff Williams. Since coming to Bristol in 2013, he performed in many national and international festivals, working with artists including Sam Crockatt, Alex Merritt, Jake McMurchie, Jim Blomfield, George Cooper, Greg Cordez, Ashley John Long and Henrik Jensen.

Swedish-born keyboarder Anders Olinder has lived in the UK since the 90s and has worked with PeeWee Ellis, PP Arnold, Amy Winehouse, members from Deep Purple, and many other famous musicians. He’s an expert jazz and soul pianist and plays with a great groove.
