Cirencester OPEN AIR SWIMMING POOL
Cirencester Open Air Swimming Pool is located on the edge of Cirencester Park and was originally opened in 1869. It offers a wonderful swimming experience in a fantastic location and has a children's paddling pool and sunbathing patio.
WOODCHESTER VALLEY VINEYARD
Woodchester Valley is a family-owned boutique vineyard and winery with three vineyard sites in the Stroud Valleys which produce a range of still white, red, rosé and sparkling wines.
Chedworth Roman Villa
A chance discovery by a gamekeeper in 1864 unearthed the existence of Chedworth Roman Villa, one of Britain's largest remaining Roman villas, dating back to the 4th Century, and it is really worth a visit to see the quite beautiful mosaics and extensive bath houses.
Cotswold Sculpture Park
Take the meandering paths that lead round an ever-changing outdoor exhibition of contemporary sculpture, displayed in beautiful woodland with ponds, gardens and glades. Café on site. Wheelchair users may find it tricky but not impossible.
Cotswold Wildlife Park
Founded in 1970, this privately owned wildlife park now houses one of the UK’s largest zoological collections and 160 acres of beautiful parkland. They recommend a visit of at least 4 hours. Fun for all the family.
Cotswold Water Park
The Cotswold Water Park is an area of 40 square miles, with more than 170 lakes set across the countryside. It offers various activities including birdwatching, walking, cycling and a whole range of water sports.
Highgrove Gardens
Home to King Charles III and the Queen Consort, the well-renowned organic gardens are open to visitors on selected dates between April and October each year.
Painswick Rococo Garden
The country's only complete surviving rococo garden, it was designed by Benjamin Hyett in 1740's to delight his guests; it has been painstakingly restored to its former glory since 1984, and continues to delight!

Run by the Forestry England, Westonbirt Arboretum is an extraordinary place to visit as it has one of the most beautiful and important plant collections in the world, with 15,000 specimens, and 2,500 species of tree from all over the globe.
